'Sudanese people have been fighting for freedom for decades': Director Hind Meddeb

Amid the civil war in Sudan that has killed tens of thousands since it broke out in 2023, a film made four years earlier during the 2019 uprising against the dictatorship has become something of a beacon for the Sudanese people. "Sudan, Remember Us" is being shown in Paris at a masterclass that discusses how difficult and important it is to film demonstrations and uprisings so that they can be show in the future.
